Venture Treads (Pty) Ltd was established with a strategic vision to consolidate trading activities previously managed by LFK Imports cc (est. 1992) and Caseco cc (est. 1994) into a single, focused entity.
Over the years the company has emerged as a leading agent and authorised distributor for Titan, ITM, and BYG — catering specifically to the mining industry across Sub-Saharan Africa. From rope-shovel tyres to undercarriage components, Venture Treads ensures the uninterrupted supply of essential products and exemplary service to mining houses and contractors across five southern African countries.
Our Milestones
LFK Imports cc Founded
LFK Imports cc is established, beginning a specialised trading relationship with the mining industry and laying the operational foundation for what would become Venture Treads.
Caseco cc Established
Caseco cc is founded as a complementary mining-sector trading entity, building deep client relationships and product expertise across the industry.
Venture Treads (Pty) Ltd Incorporated
LFK Imports and Caseco consolidate into Venture Treads (Pty) Ltd — a unified entity carrying the combined strength and expertise of both predecessor businesses. Reg. No. 2008/016609/07.
Exclusive Titan Distributorship — Sub-Saharan Africa
Venture Treads secures an exclusive distributorship with Titan Tyre and Wheel USA for Sub-Saharan Africa, specialising in tyres and wheels purpose-built for the mining sector.
First Quantum Minerals Supply Contract
Facing industry-wide headwinds from the global mining downturn, Venture Treads demonstrates resilience by successfully brokering a substantial Titan supply contract with First Quantum Minerals.
ITM Undercarriage Expansion
Product offering expands to include ITM undercarriage components for the mining sector. MCC Contracts (Pty) Ltd joins as a significant exclusive client, cementing Venture Treads' position as a full-service mining supplier.
